Everyone worked very quickly. It was over before we knew it. Turns out they'd practiced so there'd be no down time.

- Collaborative artists Mary Carothers and Sue Wrbican have used this blog to track the progress of freezing a 1978 Chevy Nova in a block of ice during January and February 2008. They worked with various groups of people such as students from Hancock High School and Michigan Technological University, the faculty and staff of MTU and government officials from the City of Houghton.
