A motorcade of maintenance vehicles arrived with the Nova in tow with Andrew Bolthouse at the wheel. It had been cleaned prior to its arrival.

- Collaborative artists Mary Carothers and Sue Wrbican have used this blog to track the progress of freezing a 1978 Chevy Nova in a block of ice during January and February 2008. They worked with various groups of people such as students from Hancock High School and Michigan Technological University, the faculty and staff of MTU and government officials from the City of Houghton.
